Costacurta: “Suso needs time to understand the new role”
AC Milan’s legendary player Alessandro Costacurta recently spoke to the media about Suso . Here is what the famous Billy said:
Giampaolo is rebuilding Suso as an offensive midfielder, and i believe in that process. We are not talking about a idiot as many in Milan say. There is study behind this, my opinion is that Suso is at his best when he plays as winger. However i believe that this can change, and it is worth to be given a try. I believe that it is the right time to try this, and Suso needs time. When Ancelotti put Pirlo in front of the defense it seemed strange, however we all know how that end up.
Since the start of the season Giampaolo was under continuous critics over his decision to change Suso’s position. This statement from Costacurta can give boost to the confidence of both the player and Giampaolo himself.
