Official: As of today AC Milan does not have any debt

Milan debt free
Leonardo and Scaroni on AC Milan press conference.

As of today AC Milan is one of the rare football clubs that do not have any financial debt. That is because since Elliott took over the club they paid off all the debt that was left over by Silvo Berlusconi and the former Chinese owners.
It seems that all steps from Elliott`s plan for Milan are going very well. After the initial 50 millions which they injected for transfers, today the paid a bonds worth of 120 million at the Vienna stock exchange. The club itself was not able to pay the two bonds(one 50 and the other 70 million), but Elliott injected fresh capital to the club. After this the club officially has no debt, even though just few years ago it had debt worth 303 million euros.
