Pioli is considering formation change
This season AC Milan is playing really bad, and is among the teams which have scored least goals. In an attempt to change this Milan’s management brought back Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
However Zlatan himself is not magician and he needs the team to change, to adapt and to improve. As the latest reports confirm, Ibrahimovic would like Milan to play with two players in the forward section. As his partner Zlatan expects to see the young Rafael Leao. Leao played very well since he entered the game as substitute and that won Ibra’s confidence.

Because of this Pioli is considering to change the 4-3-3 formation to 4-3-1-2 . In the famous “trequartista” role expected Hakan Calhanoglu and Lucas Paqueta. Calhanoglu will be given the initial chance, however Paqueta will have his opportunity to win that place. This position is one on which both Calhanoglu and Paqueta played their best soccer in Germany and Brazil.
From the formation excess come out Piatek and Suso. Their form is very weak, and it is expected that the team will be stronger with this setup. Most sources confirm that if the right offer comes AC Milan will sell both Suso and Piatek.
The new 4-3-1-2 formation can be demonstrated already in Saturday, when AC Milan plays with Cagliari.
