Cagliari – AC Milan Analyse and full highlights (VIDEO)
Today AC Milan played the fist game for the second half of the season in Serie A . This time the rossoneri were guests in Cagliari at Sardegna Arena. Even though Cagliari is not in great form at the moment, their overall season performance is very good. This was one of the harder away games for Milan this season, and the rossoneri finally showed solid performance.
The first half did not had many opportunities. However AC Milan had few goal chances, which they did not managed to realize. Cagliari on the other side had the ball bigger part of the first half, but their forwards did not created serious goal chance.

AC Milan entered the second half with much more energy and enthusiasm. Rafael Leao managed to score the first goal on the game after one very good cross from Samu Castillejo . This goal was the fastest goal scored in second half in Serie A this season.
Another very positive event on this game was the goal scored by Zlatan Ibrahimovic . This goal is his first since he returned in AC Milan. Zlatan scored the goal from a very hard position, after one great assist from Theo Hernandez . After this goal Ibrahimovic scored another goal, however that one was disallowed because of offside.
Maybe the biggest and most important change in AC Milan which could have be seen on today’s game was the formation. Stefano Pioli started and finished the game with 4-4-2 formation. Ibrahimovic and Leao played as main forwards, while on the sides they had support from Hakan Calhanoglu and Samu Castillejo .
