Today from 18:00 CET was played the Coppa Italia game between AC Milan and SPAL. In this game the rossoneri entered with mixed squad, which in the end won the game by 3-0.

Simon Kjaer had his debut for AC Milan, just few days since he become official Milan player. His performance today was decent, and he played 82 minutes, after that he was replaced by the young Matteo Gabbia .

Since the start of the game the rossoneri showed great determination to win this Cup game. One of the most motivated in the first half was Krzysztof Piatek. His active play brought AC Milan’s first goal in 20th minute when Piatek after one great pass from Ismael Bennacer scored the leading goal.

After this goal AC Milan started to play with even greater confidence. The first half ended 2-0 for the rossoneri as Samu Castillejo scored beautiful goal after on solid assist from Piatek.

In the second half just after 10 or 15 minutes the rossoneri could have been leading by 5-0. Piatek missed 2 100% chances, while Ante Rebic missed one great opportunity as well. In the second half Stefano Pioli gave chance to Suso, Paqueta and Gabbia. Most important part of this half was Theo Hernandez extraordinary solo goal which makes him most effective AC Milan player this season ( across all competitions ).
