Suso to remain in AC Milan after all?!?
Ever since the season started there have been rumors that Suso will leave AC Milan this summer. As biggest suitors for his services popped out Atletico Madrid, Arsenal and Tottenham. The Spanish winger has release clause in his contract which can be activated only by foreign clubs. If some club wants him they will have to pay 40 million euros to AC Milan. In today’s football this sum is low, and should not represent any issues for Suso’s suitors.
However in the past few days there was meeting between Suso’s agent and AC Milan’s management. The management of the Italian club has showed their determination to keep the 25-year old player. In the meeting between Alesasndro Lucci and Paolo Maldini was also discussed the role of the player under the new coach. His former position could be in stake, because the new AC Milan coach Marco Giampaolo intends to make changes in the formation.

Another important fact is that the talks for new contract has not yet began. There were rumors that if AC Milan want to remove the release clause, they will have to rise Suso’s salary up to 6 million euros per season. At this moment this is too much for the club.
