The numbers confirm, Calhanoglu is more important player than we think
Hakan Calhanoglu arrived in AC Milan two summers ago from Leverkusen. As Hakan is entering the third season in the red and black jersey, we analyse his performance. All of us know that AC Milan was very close to sell him in January, however after Gattuso’s insisting the management kept Hakan. Even though it might seem that Hakan is not good for Milan, and his performances are not quality enough it is not true at all.

If we take a look into Hakan Calhanoglu ‘s numbers since he arrived in AC Milan we can easily understand that he is Milan’s best midfielder and playmaker. The Turkish international since his arrival is the player who created most goals for Milan. In fact since his arrival Hakan assisted 22 goals in all competitions.

Another interesting fact is that in 2019 Hakan is the only player that played on all AC Milan’s official matches. No other player in the team has played all 26 matches, which only shows how important Calhanoglu is to this Milan.
