Serie A to be suspended this Tuesday ?!
As the latest reports which come from Italy confirm, the most important Italian football competition the Serie A could be suspended this Tuesday. This situation was commented by the Italian minister of sport Vincenzo Spadafora, here is what he said regarding this:
The championship was not suspended today because of one irresponsible gesture from the Serie A and its president Dal Pino. There is economical interest behind the sport, especially in Serie A. This interest feels immune to the virus and it sacrifices everyone involved. I tried until the end to avoid to ask the championship to be suspended, i know the importance of the games to the social aspect, however we can not further afford it.

I hope that the championship will be suspended. I have already expressed my opinion, it is true that the decisions so far allow games to be played behind closed doors, but today i was hoping for an act of responsibility from the League. I believe in the balance which president Gravina had so far, and in what FIGC will do.
Besides this important statements we heard rumors that the players support the suspension of the championship. Certain sources even go that far and confirm that the players will protest if the championship is not suspended. Final decision on this matter is expected to be known this Tuesday.
